Halle Geiger
Halle Geiger joined Mays Law Office in 2026 as an associate attorney concentrating in criminal defense. She earned her law degree from the University of Wisconsin in 2026.
While at the University of Wisconsin, she served as Co-President of the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Law Students (WACDLS). She was an active member of the Mock Trial Program, competing in multiple local competitions and leading her team to a championship victory in one competition and a semifinal finish in another.
Through the Legal Assistance to Incarcerated People Clinic, she worked on a variety of impactful cases, including motions for sentence modification, a wrongful conviction compensation claim, and a death penalty case originating in Texas.
As a member of the Public Defender Project, she gained substantial courtroom experience before graduation, appearing in court for a variety of hearings. Notably, she conducted her first jury trial just three months before graduating from law school — in that trial, the jury returned not-guilty verdicts on four of the eight charged counts, reflecting her strong litigation skills and courtroom presence.
